We show you how to use the Ned to target big perch in a tight area. The Ned is a style of jig fishing. It's quite different to normal fishing. Here we describe how to work the Ned and target big perch.

Here we use a light jigging rod, 14 or 15 grammes, but you can use a drop shot rod. On that rod, we have a 2,500 diver reel, a 10 pound braid and a 6 to 8 pound fluorocarbon leader

The Lure is the most important part. We tie it directly to the Fluorocarbon as jig fishing requires finesse. Here he was a Shroomz Jig Head from Z-Man

We show different types if lure you can use

Sink the lure to the bottom and bounce them around. When you pause, the perch will grab on and you get your take

So now that we're coming into the colder months, this is a great way to target perch. So go out there and grab yourself some fish and get your local river or even your like try and catch yourself some big. Let the lure sink down to the bottom and hop along.
